Short answer: HXSCO supplies beryllium copper (CuBe) — a copper alloy with 0.5–2 % beryllium that, after age hardening, reaches strength and hardness close to steel while keeping copper’s electrical and thermal conductivity, non-sparking safety and fatigue resistance. It is the material for springs, connectors, mould inserts, resistance-welding electrodes and oilfield tools where a conductive, non-magnetic, non-sparking part must also survive millions of cycles.
