Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process
Hot-dip galvanizing is a common method of protecting steel. It involves immersing cleaned steel directly into molten zinc at high temperatures, causing the zinc to react with the steel surface and form a strong alloy layer. Thicker zinc layers provide long-lasting corrosion protection in outdoor environments, often lasting for decades.
