Cobalt Alloy Supplier – Stellite, Haynes & Wear-Resistant Alloys from Shanghai

Cobalt Alloy Supplier – Stellite, Haynes & Wear-Resistant Alloys from Shanghai

Short answer: HXSCO supplies cobalt-based alloys — Stellite wear-resistant hardfacings, Haynes high-temperature grades and CoCrMo biomedical alloy — for extreme wear, heat and corrosion duty where steel and even nickel alloys wear out.

Why Cobalt Alloys

Cobalt-chromium and cobalt-nickel alloys keep hardness and strength at high temperature and resist galling, wear and corrosion better than most materials, thanks to a face-centred-cubic matrix that work-hardens and forms a stable oxide. They sit beyond our Nickel Alloy Supplier y Wear Resistant Steel Supplier ranges for the most abusive duty, and they complement Hastelloy Supplier in corrosive-high-temperature service.

Grades We Stock

Stellite 6 (R30006) is the wear-and-heat hardfacing standard for valve seats, bushings and knife edges; Stellite 12/21 raise wear resistance or biocompatibility. Haynes 25 (L605) serves gas-turbine and aerospace hot sections; Ultimet resists erosion-corrosion in slurry; CoCrMo (F75) is the orthopaedic implant alloy. Selection follows the duty exactly as in Metal Surface Treatment Guide y Galvanic Corrosion Guide.

Processing & Quality

We supply cobalt alloys as rod, bar, wire, powder and hardfacing consumables, and finish parts by our Forging Supplier y Cnc Machining Supplier programmes (carbide tooling — these are hard to machine). Welding uses matching cobalt filler; every lot ships with a mill certificate per our Mill Test Certificate Guide. Mixed-metal assemblies are planned with Galvanic Corrosion Guide.

Preguntas frecuentes

What are cobalt alloys used for?

Cobalt alloys are used for extreme wear, heat and corrosion duty — valve seats, hardfacings, gas-turbine parts, slurry equipment and orthopaedic implants.

What is Stellite?

Stellite is a cobalt-chromium-tungsten hardfacing alloy (e.g. Stellite 6) that resists wear, galling and heat, used on valve seats, bushings and cutting edges.

Is cobalt alloy better than steel for wear?

For severe wear-at-temperature and galling, yes — cobalt alloys retain hardness where steel and many nickel alloys soften or abrade.

Do you supply cobalt and Stellite alloys?

Yes. HXSCO supplies Stellite, Haynes and CoCrMo cobalt alloys in rod, bar, wire, powder and forgings with mill certificates.
