Pure Nickel Supplier – Nickel 200 / 201 Strip, Rod, Wire & Plate

Pure Nickel Supplier – Nickel 200 / 201 Strip, Rod, Wire & Plate

Short answer: HXSCO supplies pure nickel (Nickel 200 and low-carbon Nickel 201) as strip, foil, rod, bar, wire, plate and tube — the go-to metal for caustic, high-temperature and magnetic-permeability service where corrosion resistance and ductility matter more than strength.

What Pure Nickel Delivers

Nickel 200 (99.6% Ni) and Nickel 201 (low-carbon, <0.02% C) combine excellent resistance to caustic alkalis, retained toughness down to cryogenic temperatures and high thermal and electrical conductivity. They sit alongside our Nickel Alloy Supplier, Copper Supplier 그리고 Stainless Steel Supplier lines, and they are far more noble than steel in the Galvanic Series Guide, so coupling needs care in Seawater Corrosion Guide.

Grades, Forms & Properties

Nickel 201 is preferred above ~315 C because its lower carbon avoids graphite precipitation and embrittlement; both grades are readily formed and welded. We stock and cut strip, foil, rod, bar, wire, plate and tube, and certificate chemistry and mechanicals per Mill Test Certificate Guide — a useful cross-reference with 스테인리스 스틸 등급 설명, Aluminum Supplier 그리고 Brass Supplier. Surface prep follows our Metal Surface Treatment Guide.

Applications & How We Supply

Typical uses are caustic evaporators and soda-ash plant, food and synthetic-fibre equipment, battery components, electronics and magnetic shields. We protect finished nickel with inhibitors from Metal Corrosion Inhibitor Guide, pack for export and inspect with Metal Ndt Guide; tell us your How To Prevent Metal Rust and cleanliness requirements when you enquire.

자주 묻는 질문

What is the difference between Nickel 200 and 201?

Both are 99.6% pure nickel; Nickel 201 has very low carbon (<0.02%) so it avoids graphite embrittlement above ~315 C, while Nickel 200 is used at lower temperatures and for general corrosion service.

Is pure nickel corrosion resistant?

Yes — it resists caustic alkalis, many neutral and reducing salts and dry gases, though it is attacked by oxidising acids; it is far more noble than steel, so galvanic coupling needs insulation.

What forms of nickel does HXSCO supply?

Strip, foil, rod, bar, wire, plate and tube in Nickel 200 / 201, cut and finished to size with mill certificates on request.

Can pure nickel be welded?

Yes — it welds well with matching nickel filler using TIG/MIG and clean practice; low-carbon 201 reduces carbide-related issues in the heat-affected zone.

Do you supply nickel with mill certificates?

HXSCO supplies nickel with chemistry and mechanical mill documentation per your specification, inspected and packed for export.
